EMERYVILLE, CA, May 23, 2002 - Buena Vista International Television (BVI-TV) has licensed the 'Classic Treasures' package - a unique collection of Disney and Disney/Pixar animated features - to Telewizja Polska S.A (TVP). The announcement was made today by Tom Toumazis, senior vice president and managing director, BVI-TV and Maciej Domanski, Director of the Program Acquisitions, TVP.

For the first time, viewers in Poland will be able to enjoy some of the most popular animated movies ever: A Bug's Life, Pocahontas, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Toy Story and Toy Story 2. These titles combined have grossed over $2 billion at worldwide box offices and have been watched by over 121 million people at cinemas in Europe alone.

Tom Toumazis said, "We have developed our presence on Polish television with TVP over many years so it is particularly appropriate that the 'Classic Treasures' movies, which are the very best in animated feature entertainment, be showcased with them."

Domanski added, "TVP is committed to providing the best quality in family entertainment and these world-renowned movies really do fit that genre perfectly. We are especially pleased that we will be able to premiere Toy Story on Polish television on Children's Day."
